Real Madrid right-back Dani Carvajal believes Kylian Mbappe will have no problem making his Champions League debut for the club.
Los Blancos are set to host Stuttgart at the Santiago Bernabeu in the first leg of the 2024/25 Champions League on Tuesday night, with the revamped UCL competition set to see teams play eight games before securing points in a league format to determine who advances to the next round.
“Mbappe has experience of playing in Europe and I don’t think it will be a problem for him to play his first Champions League game for Madrid. Tomorrow (Tuesday) he will see what it is like to play in the Champions League at the Bernabeu. It will be a wonderful experience that he will never forget.
“It’s good that the team is not at its best yet and that means we still have room to improve both physically and in terms of performance. Injuries have affected us when some players need to rest and other players come in. As starters and we are at a point where we need to perform at our best.
“We have another chance tomorrow (Tuesday) with UFABET the fans and to play in a competition that we really enjoy and are very happy about.
“I hope we can do well and the fans will go home happy.”
